FWIW, I've been working through XHCI-specific issues over the last
couple of years.  If there are still outstanding issues that folks are
having where the advice "did you try a USB 2.0 port" helps out, please
make sure those bugs are being filed so we can get them fixed as well!
 There's no structural reason that USB 3.0 should be unreliable.

It's important to get these details, or we have very little to go on
