Hello,
I need to add disks to a ZFS pool on openindiana.
On
https://docs.openindiana.org/community-hcl/components/#storage-controllers,
I found the following controller
Syba IOCrest SI-PEX40108 Marvell 88SE9215
I thus bought a controller based on this marvel chip

    - Carte Controleur SATA III (Sata 3) PCI Express (PCI-E PCIe) vers 4
Ports SATA 6Gbps - Chipset Marvell 9215 - avec equerre Low Profile

    - SATA III (Sata 3) PCI Express (PCI-E PCIe) Controller Card to 4
    SATA 6Gbps Ports - Marvell 9215 Chipset -

I added it to my computer with two 4TB SATA SSDs.
I  touched /reconfigure and rebooted.
Then I typed format to have the list of the disks, but I did not see the
two new disks. Is there something special to do to use this little sata
controller ?
Else card with which chip would you recommend; I see also cheap cards
with ASM 1061.
Thanks
Marc
