Hi!

I would generally say that any modern printer is capable of Postscript,
so any should do the job, if you setup your driver (with cups?) to use
postscript.

I have a HP MFP 281fdw.

This i have in CUPS:

Description: HPLIP
Location:
Driver: HP ColorLaserJet MFP M278-M281 Postscript (recommended) (color,
2-sided printing)

(.. but you could use a postcript drive for an apple color laserwriter,
too. Maybe you can't use some features, but you will be able to print..)

For scanning i currently use "simplescan" on a linux vm..

We have xsane package on OI, but it seems currently broken because of
the gimp update to version 3:

$ xsane
ld.so.1: xsane: fatal: libgimp-2.0.so.0: open failed: No such file or
directory
ld.so.1: xsane: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/bin/xsane: symbol
gimp_main: referenced symbol not found

Regards,

Stephan
