[OpenIndiana-discuss] Mate energy monitor not working

Hi,

I'm using OpenIndiana on a Thinkpad T460.

It works pretty well for the most part (except for the Wi-Fi), but I'm 
puzzled by a glitch with the power monitor applet (in the top Mate 
panel, next to the date).

Basically, it constantly shows the battery charge at 0% and doesn't 
detect when the power cord is plugged in. However, the Device Driver 
Utility detects the battery's charge status just fine (in fact, that's 
mainly what I use it for), thanks to the acpi_drv driver.

Do you have any idea how I could get the power monitoring applet to work?
