i found that there is a daemon delivered with cups:
$ pkg search -r cups-lpd
INDEX ACTION VALUE PACKAGE
basename file usr/lib/cups/daemon/cups-lpd
pkg:/print/cups at 2.4.14-2025.0.0.0
but there are no lp* commands or devices - on my system... :-/
Maybe you could do that with netcat copying the files directly to the
socket (maybe 9100) ?
Some printers have a ftp and/or smb feature you can copy fils to the
printer.
