don't know if anyone pushed the binarys to /experimental, however that would be the requirement to get it build with jenkins

While oi-build will use gcc 4.6.1 as its default compiler in the near future, the Illumos team require gcc 4.4.4 for development work.

This should be delivered to /usr/gcc/4.4.4

The build recipe used here should be of use:

Note that the gcc specs file should be updated in a similar maner to the one provided in this component. This is to ensure correct linking of built binaries/libraries.
