Issue #229 has been updated by Roy Sigurd Karlsbakk.

Status changed from Closed to Feedback
% Done changed from 100 to 10

A release note doesn't fix the issue, so please reopen this - if it's not planned for fixing in 151, well, change target version. Closing a bug just because it's known is rather silly

Hi all

MySQL-51 installs well, but the default is to use it in 32bit mode, which isn't optimal, since a 32bit app won't use all registers available in 64bit, and won't have access to all the memory. Could this be switched to use 64bit mode when this is available in the OS (and hardware)?
