Thanks for the feedback.

What I was trying to avoid was going off and doing "my own thing" by getting
the general consensus on where to take SPARC support. Starting a
conversation on this mailing list made sense.

Starting a conversation on oi-discuss is a good idea. I was going to do this
anyhow, so will type something later tonight.
