What files are managed/changed by the NWAM GUI?

I have a laptop on which I installed oi_147 and connected to my home
wifi (no problems). Then I upgraded to oi_148 and wifi was still OK.
Then I let my 17 year old hacker at home use it, giving him an account
with admin privs. After that the wifi does not work in the oi_148 BE,
but if I boot up the 147 BE, wifi is connecting OK...

I thought I could just copy the files he has fiddled with over to the
148 OI to get the wifi up...
