I have oi_147 running on a Supermicro board and case. I have not had
issues except for not being able to turn on iommu support (dual socket
Opteron board) and issues with the onboard LSI2008 controller and an
addon LSI 9211-8i controller. Those boards would sometimes not see any
disks or load grub. Not sure if it is a problem with the hbas or the
Supermicro backplane but replugging the cables always sorts the problem
out. SC847 case here.
On the OI side of things, I have had no issues with OI_147 on this set
of hardware.

Lately, however, we've seen some hichups that may be related to the platform, rather than the hardware. The actual errors have been variable. Some issues were due to some supermicro backplanes that tended to fail, causing drives to report massive i/o errors. But then, the really bad ones are issues where zfs reports bad drives even though iostat report them as good. So far, we haven't lost a pool, it has been sorted out, but I still wonder what happens if I'm gone for a few weeks and something like that happens.
