Yes, and if you need - you can even recreate a shadow of your original
snapshots by rsync'ing (with --delete-after) from the .zfs/snapshot/*
directories and making proper snapshots on the target.

However, in case that your filesystems for some reason rely on ACLs
and extended attributes (not so for the default installation) you
might have to use the Sun tar or cpio (not the GNU variants).

Also if you clone ZFS like this, take care to apply the proper ZFS
attribute settings manually from the source FSes onto their copies,
before you write data.
