Depends how much you paid for the server itself.  ;-)  But that's kind of irrelevant.  Often, the storage *is* more expensive than the rest of the server.  Depends on how much storage you're adding.  There's a cost for the HBA, for the drive bay, and then a cost for the disks, multiplied by the number of disks.  So the disks add up quickly.

I'm a fan of Sans Digital products for the price.  And I'm a fan of using the disks that they recommend.
