We're using puppet 3.8.7 pretty heavily where I work, but that's mainly
on RHEL-based systems, and even with the latest RHEL 7.3, ruby is only
2.1.x.  hipster now ships only newer versions of ruby than many of the
Linux distros.  We don't have any production Ubuntu, though.
