Hi Alan,

yes, I have tried (actually, it is NOT in use now, because Xinerama was 
not working either):

$ grep -i xinerama /etc/X11/xorg.conf
     Option         "Xinerama" "0"
     Option         "nvidiaXineramaInfoOrder" "DFP-0"
