Hi,

I have added a USb 3.0 card to my desktop during Openindiana is reports

May 18 08:25:03 tesla unix: [ID 476775 kern.warning] WARNING: illegal
PCI request: offset = e11, size = 4
May 18 08:25:03 tesla unix: [ID 476775 kern.warning] WARNING: illegal
PCI request: offset = 1, size = 4

However scanpci can report on the card

pci bus 0x0081 cardnum 0x00 function 0x00: vendor 0x1033 device 0x0125
NEC Corporation uPD720400 PCI Express - PCI/PCI-X Bridge

pci bus 0x0081 cardnum 0x00 function 0x01: vendor 0x1033 device 0x0125
NEC Corporation uPD720400 PCI Express - PCI/PCI-X Bridge

pci bus 0x0083 cardnum 0x06 function 0x00: vendor 0x12d8 device 0xe111
Pericom Semiconductor PI7C9X111SL PCIe-to-PCI Reversible Bridge

pci bus 0x0084 cardnum 0x00 function 0x00: vendor 0x1912 device 0x0014
Renesas Technology Corp. uPD720201 USB 3.0 Host Controller

While prtconf reports

         pci10de,376, instance #3
             pci1033,125, instance #6 (retired)
             pci1033,125 (retired)
                 pci12d8,e111 (retired)
                     pci1912,14 (retired)

I have tried devfsadm -C and tried touch /reconfigure but the problem
remains when I try to use fmadm it fails as it unable to make the rpc call.

Amy suggestions on how to get this card working?

TIA

Russell
