First of all I have to make a few things clear. The
machine that reboots is located at a computer lab
that I am using to teach Python programming to kids.
I booted to single user mode and disabled lightdm
and now the system boots just fine. When I enter
starx or Xorg, the screen gets black and after a few
seconds it crashes and reboots. As I have already
mentioned I am not using the "default" driver:

I would really appreciate it if someone could
let me know what should I do in order to solve
this problem. BTW, the machine with the GT1030
NVIDIA card is the one that I am using at home.
So we are talking about two different systems.

Regards,
A.S.
