[OpenIndiana-discuss] what to do after install on minimal install media

I haven't been able to install from oi install media thru all of 2021.
I finally decided to try the minimal *.iso and low and behold it
worked.  Or I should say seems to be working ... install not complete
yet.

So what does one do with a minimal install?  Is it just a matter of
updating to get the full OS?

What is normally the reason someone installs from the minimal install media?
