[OpenIndiana-discuss] About update versions

I've seen a number in posts here a few times, that are a reference to
update version... I think.

Not able to include what I'm talking about as I lost track of where I
saw it.

Its not what you can get from the pkg tool with with:

    pkg list -Hv entire  like:

 pkg list -Hv entire
pkg://openindiana.org/entire@0.5.11-2022.0.0.1:20221014T063608Z  i--

The number I've seen had no relics of the pkg tool and is a more
complicated number that looks more like a complex kind of password, with
a mixture of up/down case alph numeral and probably more than 20-25 char.

In the back of my pea brain I'm thinking it may have something to do
with the `git' tool, but maybe not.

As I write this its looking/sounding more and more silly... so
stopping here and remaining hopeful someone will know what I'm talking
about, and be able to explain what it refers to, and if it can be used
to identify which update I'm using.
