[OpenIndiana-discuss] What is pkg tool telling me?

There is a hefty pause between hitting enter and output shown

pkg install pkg:/service/storage/zfs-auto-snapshot

no updates necessary for this image

What is the meaning?

At first I took it to mean it was already installed but compiling all
installed pkgs with `pkg list > inst'

There is no evidence of its presence.
