Hello!

I am on a BE of date 2025-02-12 "SunOS 5.11 illumos-7633a05bff ", no 
problems with VirtualBox here,
currently running a win10 vm with GUI.

No problem opening a PNG with gimp (caja->right mouse->openwith->gimp)

Maybe the problem is only in more recent update s?
