Good Afternoon

I am trying to get a USB drive to appear inside a VirtualBox VM, when I
plug the USb drive into either a USB 3.0 or 2.0 port the following happens.

1. "Cannot mount volume" dialogue box appears    Error
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied

2. The USB drive opens with a File System Window

3. Press OK on the Cannot mount Volume dialogue window 4. Within
VirtualBox window, select Devices -> USB -> USB Drive

5. The USB Drive File System Window disappears

6. Checking the VirtualBox logs

7. Within the VirtualBox instance (this instance Windows 11), it reports
an Unknown USB Device (Invalid Device Descriptor)

Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code
43) The USB device returned an invalid USB device descriptor.

8. Deselecting the USB Drive from the VirtualBox VM instance causes the
USB Drive to appear in a new File System Window.

9. VirtualBox is reporting

Failed to attach the USB device SanDisk Cruzer Snap [0100] to the
virtual machine win11-ts5.

USB device 'SanDisk Cruzer Snap' with UUID
{2d6578d3-5af2-4522-917f-a8ee88a798bc} is busy with a previous request.
Please try again later.

I do have the correct extension pack installed, I have also ensured that
vboxuser group membership is configured.

Any suggestions on how to get this to work.

Kind Regards

Russell
