[OpenIndiana-discuss] Cannot open an image (jpeg, jpg, png) with gimp

Hello,
I am using GIMP version 2.10.38 and on illumos-12e5728106, April 2025,and there is no problem. However, previous versions of GIMP had thisproblem and I had to use some online tools for even basic things.Have you tried to upgrade your system(s)?

I hoped that it would be solved but apparently it did not.

Did anybody else suffer of this problem ? Is there a workaround (other 
than starting a windows machine where gimp works)
