Till has done the heavy lifting in getting OIDA formed, but much more needs to be done.  I am hoping this will prompt someone in a position to help Till with fund raising.
Donations at present just barely cover infrastructure costs:

Neither of the "supporters" are members of the collective.  Why?  Signing up as a supporter should have automatically made us members.  Would someone please help out by implementing a policy that donors are automatically made members?  Atiq has a PR for a donation button for the OI home web page to take the user to the donation page.  Could we get that reviewed and installed?
For my concept of using bounties to incentivize work, there needs to be a way to ensure the person doing the work receives the bounty.  A logical means is for the bounty to be paid to OIDA in advance.  When the requirements, e.g. bug fix or feature request, are met and committed to the main repository, the person submitting the work gets paid.
Implementing such a scheme is rather more complex with various unknowns.  At a minimum we would need a spreadsheet showing bug and feature requests and bounty amounts on deposit for each.  Likely the person posting the bounty would want to furnish additional details.
