Hello Ken
I've also an old netbook (asus EeePC) actually running OpenSXCE
I had tried OpenIndia from USB Live Image in the past, but was not
successfull (was 158 if I remember right)
But as I remember there was even not the banner running, only the dot's
where seen
I've you are interested, and it may help you, I can try it again
